Ribbon-cutting at already busy Sapphire Community Health

Hamilton's newly re-opened Sapphire Community Health facility has already seen over 250 patients since it began operation in late October, 2015.

The "sliding-scale" community health organization was designated a federally funded community health center through the Human Resources Services Administration last May. The facility does not turn anyone away based on their inability to pay.

The former Ravalli County Federal Credit Union building at 303 North 3rd was transformed into the medical facility. The public got a chance to see the examination rooms during a ribbon-cutting for their official grand opening Friday, January 8.

The center offers primary care for infants to adults, along with urgent care, preventative medicine, women's care, laboratory services, physicals and colorectal screening.

Janet Woodburn is CEO and Susan Reynolds is Chief Nursing Officer. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The phone number is (406) 541-0032.
