Hamilton’s Sapphire Community Health Care receives funds

The community health center for Hamilton will be getting some federal funding again this year.

U.S. Senator Steve Daines announced that Sapphire Community Health Inc. will be getting $704,000 in the Labor, Health and Human Services Appropriations Bill.

The money is part of over $2 million in critical funding for three Montana community health centers.

The others are Custer County Community Health Center in Miles City with $919,183 and Marias Healthcare Services in Shelby with $717,936.

Daines said, "Montana's community health centers provide access to affordable healthcare."

Sapphire Community Health is at 316 North Third in Hamilton.
